"I devoted myself to documentary film with the firm intention of exploring the topic of sex in old age, which still appears to be contradictory to most people. In order to do so, the movie screen turned out to provide the highest amount of authenticity, meaning it is the most suitable medium for depicting people's thoughts and feelings to the audience. Still, a documentary film basically requires the intellectual command of a topic to the same degree as, e.g., writing a book."
